Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Megra ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. The Platform

Megra is a live auction marketplace that connects buyers and sellers in Nigeria. We facilitate transactions but are not a party to any sale between buyers and sellers.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Megra will never ask for your password.

4. Prohibited Activities

• Conducting transactions outside the Megra platform
• Selling counterfeit, stolen or prohibited items
• Creating fake bids (shill bidding)
• Harassing other users
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the system
• Misrepresenting items in listings or mystery boxes

5. Payments & Escrow

All payments are processed by Paystack and held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery. Megra charges a platform fee deducted from the seller's payout. Buyers pay no platform fee.

6. Platform Fees

• Bronze Seller: 6% per transaction
• Silver Seller (20+ sales): 5%
• Gold Seller (50+ sales): 4%
• Diamond Seller (100+ sales): 3%
• Founding Sellers: 0% for first 3 months, 3% months 4-6

7. Buyer Protection

Buyers have 48 hours after confirmed delivery to raise a dispute. Megra investigates all disputes using stream recordings and tracking evidence. Decisions are final.

8. Mystery Boxes

Sellers must declare the minimum value of mystery box contents. Items must meet or exceed the declared minimum value. Misrepresentation results in immediate account termination and full buyer refund.

9. Promotions & Giveaways

Megra Moments and promotional giveaways are marketing activities. No separate purchase is required to enter. Winners are selected randomly from eligible participants. These activities do not constitute gambling.

10. Account Termination

Megra reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without prior notice. Users banned for fraud will be reported to relevant authorities.

11. Limitation of Liability

Megra is not liable for losses arising from transactions between buyers and sellers beyond the escrow amount held. We are not responsible for items lost in transit beyond our stated shipping protection policy.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
