Learn about Megra
Everything you need to know about buying, selling, and staying safe.

Buyers can leave reviews after a completed order, and your seller standing reflects your sales history and reliability over time.
Complete Megra's seller application with your details for review — once approved, you're verified and can start selling.

Megra listings are currently single items — for different sizes or colors, create a separate listing for each option, clearly labeled in the title.
Bidding & Auctions
Tap 'Buy Now' on a listing to purchase instantly, or place a bid if it's up for auction.
You can use the suggested bid amount shown, or tap the custom bid option to enter your own amount — as long as it's higher than the current bid.
You'll get a notification and email the moment the auction ends if you had the winning bid.
You'll have a payment window to complete checkout. Once paid, the seller prepares your item for shipping.
Payment windows are shown at checkout — pay promptly to avoid losing the item and affecting your buyer standing.
Repeated missed payments lead to strikes, which can temporarily suspend your ability to bid.
Bids are binding once placed — only bid if you're ready to pay if you win.
Sellers list an item with a starting price; buyers bid in real time (live) or over a set window (timed). Highest bid at close wins.
Choose 'Auction' as the listing type — it automatically goes into your inventory. During a live show, you can only auction items already sitting in your inventory: Buy Now items with no buyer currently checking out, and listed items with no bids yet.
Each item's auction period is set by you — you choose the timer per item, so you control exactly how long each item runs for during your show.
No — once bidding starts, the seller is committed to honoring the sale to the winning bidder.
The listing simply ends without a sale; you can relist it.
It depends on where the item came from — a live-auction win returns to your inventory (or wherever you pulled it from) if unpaid. For regular listings, it's offered down the list of next-highest bidders until it sells or hits your reserve price, then returns to your store. Only the buyer who didn't pay receives a strike.
Yes, the current highest bid is always visible on the listing or live show.
Delivery
If there's a genuine problem with your order, open a dispute rather than a direct return — Megra reviews the case and can refund you if it's resolved in your favor.
Open a dispute with photos showing the difference, or tap 'Report this order' before confirming — Megra will review and can refund you if the item doesn't match what was listed.
Open a dispute right away with photos of the damage. Don't confirm delivery until it's resolved.
Open a dispute. Megra will review the shipping timeline and can refund you if the item genuinely wasn't delivered.
Check your Orders page — you'll see live status updates from paid through packed, picked up, in transit, and delivered.
Once your order shows as delivered, tap 'Confirm Received' on the order — this releases payment to the seller.
Payment automatically releases to the seller 48 hours after delivery is marked, giving you a window to confirm or raise an issue first.
Yes, sellers can hand off to any rider and record their name and phone number when marking the order picked up.
Yes — when marking an order as picked up, sellers can select the vehicle type used, including bus or other commercial transport.
Paid means payment received, awaiting packing. Packed means ready for pickup. Picked Up means handed to a rider. In Transit means on the way. Delivered means it's arrived and awaiting your confirmation.
You'll have a window to confirm receipt or raise a dispute before payment automatically releases to the seller.
Payment automatically releases to the seller after the confirmation window passes, as long as no dispute is open.
General
Megra was built with a passion for bringing live auction shopping to Nigeria. For specific inquiries, you can reach out through Support.
Payments & Escrow
Your payment is processed securely and held by Megra. It's only released to the seller after you confirm delivery, or automatically after the confirmation window passes.
When you pay for an item, Megra holds the funds safely rather than sending them straight to the seller. This protects you — if something goes wrong, we can step in before any money changes hands with the seller.
After the buyer confirms they received the order, or automatically 48 hours after delivery is marked, whichever comes first — unless a dispute is open.
Megra pauses the payout and reviews both sides fairly. If the dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor, they're refunded. If resolved in the seller's favor, the seller is paid.
This depends on the listing — some sellers offer free shipping, others charge a fee shown clearly before you buy.
Megra accepts secure payments through Paystack, including cards and bank transfer.
Yes, if your item doesn't arrive, isn't as described, or a dispute is resolved in your favor.
Refunds are processed once your dispute is resolved and typically reflect within a few business days, depending on your bank.
Contact Megra Support with your order details — if the item hasn't been sold to someone else yet, we can reopen your payment window so you can complete your purchase.
The item returns to the seller's store (or gets offered to the next-highest bidder for auctions), and you may receive a strike for the missed payment.
Contact Support right away with your order reference — we can look into what happened and help resolve it, including reopening your payment window if the item is still available.
In genuine cases like network issues or payment errors, yes — reach out to Support with your order details as soon as possible, and if the item hasn't sold to someone else, we can reopen the window for you.
Safety
Payment is held securely until you confirm delivery, and any problems can be raised through our dispute system for fair review.
Sellers are notified fairly of any complaint without buyer identity exposed until Megra has reviewed it, and payment is protected against baseless claims.
Listings can be removed and sellers held accountable — report anything suspicious and our team investigates.
Open a dispute with evidence — Megra reviews and can refund you.
Megra reviews the shipping evidence, tracking, and both sides' accounts before deciding.
From your order, tap 'Report this order' or 'Report Issue' to start the process.
Report as soon as possible after delivery, before confirming receipt, for the strongest case.
Deals made outside Megra lose all protection — no escrow, no dispute mediation, no buyer or seller safety net.
No — illegal items, weapons, counterfeit goods, recalled products, hazardous materials, and other prohibited items are not allowed. Check our Community Guidelines for the full list.
Tap the menu icon during any show and select 'Report this show' — choose a reason and Megra's team will review it.
If your show is ended for a policy violation, you'll receive an email and notification explaining why. Repeated violations lead to longer cooldowns before you can go live again, and severe repeated violations can result in permanent loss of selling access.
Selling
Apply through Megra's seller onboarding, providing your details for verification. Once approved, you can start listing items.
Payouts go to your verified bank account after a buyer confirms delivery, or automatically after the confirmation window closes.
No — you can list items normally for buyers to purchase or bid on anytime. Going live is optional and great for a more interactive selling experience, but not required.
Commission depends on your seller tier — the more you sell and the better your standing, the lower your rate. Check your Seller Analytics page for your current rate.
Once paid, pack the item, upload a photo, and mark it as packed in Orders to Ship. Hand it to your rider, then update the status through pickup and delivery.
Tap their name in the chat, then select 'Remove from Show' — they'll be immediately removed and can't rejoin, chat, or bid for the rest of that show.
Yes, when removing them, choose 'Remove & Block' instead — this blocks them from your future shows too, not just the current one.
